Travis got up to get rid of the condom in the bathroom, and I snuggled down under the covers.

I didn’t know if I should stay or go to my own room, but I told myself to worry about it after a few minutes. Travis wouldn’t mind me staying there and relaxing for a bit.

I heard the toilet flush and the sink turn on and off, and then Travis came out of the bathroom.

He smiled when he saw me. “You look comfortable.”

I had the covers up to my nose and half of my face buried in the pillow. I smiled back at him. “I am.”

He slid into bed on his side and picked up the remote. “Want to watch some TV?”

“Sure,” I said as I let my eyes close. “If I fall asleep, feel free to wake me.”

Travis grabbed my wrist and tugged on it. “Come over here.”

I opened my eyes to see him pat his chest.

This was an invitation I’d be crazy to turn down.

I scooted over, and he slid an arm under my neck. I pushed my body flush with his, resting my head on his shoulder.

He kissed my forehead. “Go ahead. Close your eyes.”

And I did just that.
